Our policy
We are an independent, family-run business, focussing on the delivery of excellent goods and customer service. This is what makes our business unique and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver this unique shopping experience.
We understand that sometimes you change your mind about the purchase you have made. In accordance with our excellent customer service, we can offer you a full refund if you: notify us of your intention to return the goods to our shop within 14 days of receipt at your own expense; and, you return the goods to us within 28 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please note that only regular priced items may be refunded and unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Items are returned at the customer’s own risk and we cannot accept liability for any returns damaged or lost in transit. Your order must be returned to us unopened and unused in the original packaging. We also require the receipt or proof of purchase. All returns are quality checked and items that do not meet our returns policy will be declined and may be sent back to you.
Refunds that are accepted will be credited to the payment method used to place the order (excluding the initial delivery cost).
Please note that for security reasons we can only send out replacement items to the address used in your original order. If the damage to a faulty item is deemed to be malicious, no refund (product, delivery change, nor return postage) will be made.
Faulty / Damaged goods
We do our best to check our goods are not faulty / damaged upon receipt from our suppliers and to ensure your order is delivered in good condition.
On the rare occasion that due to a manufacturing default or upon delivery your goods are faulty / damaged, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund if this is appropriate. In the first instance, please notify us by either calling us on 020 8449 3979 or emailing us at info@barnetgallery.co.uk. If your order has arrived damaged, you must email us photos
We may also ask you to send us a photo of the goods before sending them back to us.
How to arrange a refund/exchange
You can return the goods you purchased online either to our shop in person or by post.
If you return the goods by post we advise that you use registered post so that you have proof of postage. We cannot be responsible if the goods are lost / damaged during transit.

Your refund (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that we aim to process your refund within 3 to 5 working days of receiving your return and that the funds can take up to 14 days to reach your account depending on your bank. Please also note that for security reasons we cannot refund a different card from the one used for the original purchase.
